hi sir, while I do understand what I wrote may not be true & accurate, I was told that, by doing so, one could get the original, factory defaults, even in terms of firmware.
thank you, bharat. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Martinello" <martinello@xxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, July 17, 2011 12:36 PM To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [talks-uk] Re: nokia e72 internet web pages
Hello, Thanks for your reply. Just to precise that roll back the phone to factory defaults, is quite different from rolling it back to a previous firmware version. Kind regards Quotingone of the chaps who landed in a similar situation that in case you were to choose the option of rolling it back to factory defaults, you would get theoriginal version, that too the legal way. but I am not too sure if that'll be possible. I personally don't think that'll work! -------------------------------------------------- From: "Martinello" <martinello@xxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, July 17, 2011 3:57 AM To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [talks-uk] Re: nokia e72 internet web pagesHello, Thanks for your reply Actually it's possible to roll back, but I will lose the warranty and similar stuff! In two words: it's illegal. If anyone had a legal solution, would be nice to hear from! Kind regards Quoting: When did you update? Mine is fine but then I must check my firmware versionagainst yours. Have a feeling that Bernard on the list discussed recentlyhaving updated his firmware on e72 and got this problem too. You cannotrole it back unfortunately. Will have to wait until next release of Talksto see if they have corrected this. Eleanor -- Caselle da 1GB, trasmetti allegati fino a 3GB e in piu' IMAP, POP3 e SMTP autenticato?
