I think yesterday was OK, I was on the bus and was getting 66% signal and then it went to 0% and eventually back to 66%.

Hi Eleanor,

Another factor for GPS is the weather. If it is cloudy, you will have less
chance getting signal.

All the best

Steve

Well Steve, remember I said yesterday I did not get it on a bus in an open
space.

Hi Joseph,

I get GPS on a train. What receiver do you have?

I must admit, you don't get it in a tunnel, but most of the time I get it.

All the best

Steve

Hi
good program, i've only been using it for about an hour or so, but I don't
understand how the alarm feature is ment to work. I'd like to try and use
it

on the train because getting a gps signal is impossible on a train.

This message may be of interest to people who have used Mini GPS or GSM
Navigator. With these programmes you could perform actions when your
phone
was in range of a transmitter or base station. You can do things like
sound
an alarm, change profile, Bluetooth actions or some others that I can't
think of at the moment.

Although this worked well you couldn't put it to a very local location
due
to the range a transmitter has. There is a new on out now called GPS
Action. I have had it on my phone now for about 2 minutes and it looks
like
it will work with talks. The added advantage of this programme over the
others is that you can set your location using the GPS positioning.
