Hi
good program, i've only been using it for about an hour or so, but I don't understand how the alarm feature is ment to work. I'd like to try and use it on the train because getting a gps signal is impossible on a train. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Brett" <markbrett@xxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [talks-uk] new application using GPS

This message may be of interest to people who have used Mini GPS or GSM
Navigator. With these programmes you could perform actions when your phone was in range of a transmitter or base station. You can do things like sound
an alarm, change profile, Bluetooth actions or some others that I can't
think of at the moment.

Although this worked well you couldn't put it to a very local location due
to the range a transmitter has. There is a new on out now called GPS
Action. I have had it on my phone now for about 2 minutes and it looks like
it will work with talks. The added advantage of this programme over the
others is that you can set your location using the GPS positioning.
