Yeah it's like apples and oranges. I'm not bothered about the mp3
capability of a phone because that's not how I use my phone. I want the
ability to use it effectively and I love the qwerty keyboard.

Well I love my E71 but of course it is neither a rival for the iPhone or

N86. They are different tools for different tasks and you can't really
compare them as it's not like for like. If you want a music phone for
example, then surely from what I've read the N86 is the best on the
market
at present. If you want a more business orientated phone with qwerty
keypad,
then I believe the E71 is the winner. So they are the leaders in their
respective fields rather than competing with each other.

I'm with Steve on this, the N86 perhaps over the iPhone, the E71 not so
for
my opinion.

I agree the N97 has the chance to do this, but from what I read Nokia
have
stuff to do to make the Symbian OS better and more stable / responsive
before sighted folk consider it a competitor to the iPhone.

Well I have to confess that I would never use a touch screen device.
It's far too fiddly when you need to take notes or numbers when out and
about. It may well be usable but not to a degree where one could operate
a touch device with confidence and ease. My E71 showers all over the
I-Phone all round. I think you know what that term means.
