Yeah it's like apples and oranges. I'm not bothered about the mp3 capability of a phone because that's not how I use my phone. I want the ability to use it effectively and I love the qwerty keyboard. -----Original Message----- From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Barbara Wilson Sent: 02 October 2009 11:22 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Re: n97 and talks Well I love my E71 but of course it is neither a rival for the iPhone or N86. They are different tools for different tasks and you can't really compare them as it's not like for like. If you want a music phone for example, then surely from what I've read the N86 is the best on the market at present. If you want a more business orientated phone with qwerty keypad, then I believe the E71 is the winner. So they are the leaders in their respective fields rather than competing with each other. I agree the N97 has the chance to do this, but from what I read Nokia have stuff to do to make the Symbian OS better and more stable / responsive before sighted folk consider it a competitor to the iPhone. ---Neil Barnfather TalkNav TalkNav is a Nuance Accessibility software reseller and authorized distributor of Wayfinder products, with product activation codes delivered direct to your mailbox, why not try TalkNav today? www.talknav.com www.wayfinderaccess.com Telephone from the UK: 0844 412 1062 Telephone outside the UK: +44 161 277 7997 -----Original Message----- From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Saqib Sent: 01 October 2009 21:44 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Re: n97 and talks Well I have to confess that I would never use a touch screen device. It's far too fiddly when you need to take notes or numbers when out and about. It may well be usable but not to a degree where one could operate a touch device with confidence and ease. My E71 showers all over the I-Phone all round. I think you know what that term means. -------------------------------------------------- From: "DurDevil" <durdevil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 01, 2009 7:15 PM To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [talks-uk] Re: n97 and talks > its better than just a touch screen though as has a keyboard too.
