No worries Yvonne.

The number keys on the E66 and E65 are very similar to the N86 keys really.
Perhaps they are ever slightly easier to feel as their horizontal sides are a
little longer if you see what I mean, but that's about it. I only have an E66
and E65 but the comparison with the N86 keys I am giving is from memory.

Cheers,
Amro

  hello amro
  thank you for this
as mentioned to madleen's reply this request has now been completed
many thanks for telling me where to find it
and as far as i know exactly the same as your e66
by the way does the e65 and e66 have one of those keypads that are just 4
bars in total that have no gaps between the numbers similar to what is known as
rocker switches?
if not any idea what handsets have these keys
  thank you
  Yvonne

Yvonne, I'm pretty sure you can. I don't have an N86 to tell you precisely
where you can do this on your phone, but on my E66 the option you need is
called Keypad Auto Lock and it's located in
menu>tools>settings>general>security>phone and cim card>keypad auto lock period.

Don't confuse the keypad auto lock option with the phone auto lock option
though. For the latter you will need a pin code to unlock your phone when the
phone locks up, which I believe is not what you are after.

Hope this gives you an idea on what to look for on your phone unless an N86
owner comes out with the goodies and saves you the search.

    Cheers,
    Amro

      hi
is it possible to set a time limit on the n86 so that the keypad
automatically comes on after a period of inactivity
i can lock the keypad by opening the slider and closing it but i was
looking for another way to do this
and the one thing i had in mind was that after a period of inactivity the
keypad automatically locks itself
if anyone can answer this and tell me how to do it
      it would be gratefully appreciated
      many thanks

      Yvonne

        hi
he mentions cracks for reading software
maybe he should get one of these for spell checkers as the one he is
using or not using appears not to be working

            Hi.

We don't do cracks on these lists and we don't condone the use of
pirated software. By hacking or cracking these expensive programs, you are
making the case for development of these essential tools harder than it already
is by depriving the companies and developers of much needed revenue for their
hard work and dedication to the cause. I'd urge you to consider buying a
license for the software rather than steeling it, but in either case please
refrain from talking about cracking on here, its not welcome by the moderators
or members.

            All the best, Ibrahim.
