Hi Evonne

Yes, you can set the N86 to end a call on closing.  I've got mine set like 
that but I can't remember how it is done.  I'll have a play around and see 
what I can find out.

mine also only announces when locked
probably because i have the slider set to answer when opening and locking
keypad on closing
wonder if there is a setting where ending a call when closing
but when i press the rubbery key a second time talks says network date
battery etcetera but certainly does not say keypad unlocked
