Hi Steve,I don't think that will be too difficult or far away. people like Red Hat are already on to some of this stuff, and with the increasing demands on business for open source applications, I think that development is being driven that way.

Ok, so we all agree that Talks has opened up the way we are now able to communicate with others via our mobiles. The fact is that if we want Talks on more than one phone we need to pay for an additional licence (still works out cheaper than JAWS) which is fair enough, otherwise how would future product development be possible? It would be nice if the mobile networks (02, T-mobile 3 and Orange) were to offer some kind of discount or meet half way in the costs but in reality that will probably not happen. Talks is an amazing bit of software for the price. It has revolutionised the way we are able to communicate, not justwiththe basic norms on a phone like texting and access to the calendar andsuchbut, with virtually full access to the internet and things like Wayfinder Access too. If you want Talks on three phones, you only pay 250 pounds. This is still less than half the price ofJAWS,so what are you complaining about?
