Thanks Steve - I did some digging and it seems that alva don't have drivers
for Talks, only mobile speak, so that helps with my decision.

Hi Adrian,

It will either be on the Alva disk, or their web site. I haven't looked
into Alva displays with Talks yet.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve - I'm obviously been a bit thick today, where do I find a talks
driver? Is it something I should be looking for with talks, in the alva
materials or somewhere else.

Hi Adrian,

So do you have the Talks driver installed to your phone? If so, just pair
it with the Alva, then turn on Braille Output in Talks, by pressing Talks
then End Call.

All the best

I've got an alva bc640 on loan for a few days. It claims to work with
mobiles although I haven't delved in the manuals far enough to see if it
says which mobile screenreaders it supports although given the limted number
on the market you'd hope...

Hi Adrian,

What would be useful is to know which Braille display you have.

Subject: [talks-uk] linking talks up to a braille display

Hi all: I've just got my hands on a wireless Braille display. Not having
used talks with a Braille display before I'm not quite sure how to go about
getting to 2 running together so any assistance very much welcome. E.g. do I
need to pair the ddisplay and phone before attempting to find it with talks
can I initiate the pairing from within talks or...

Thanks
