Hi Scott,
If you hard reset any phone, Talks has to be reinstalled.
If you soft reset then it doesn't.
To hard reset, type *#7370# at the phone screen.
To soft reset, type *#7780#
Caution, if you hard reset, you had better back anything up you don't want
to lose.
Default lock code when it asks is 12345.
