yeah the thing is i don't actually touch that key i'm careful not to.
i'm wondering though if it could be related to how fast i have talks. so
every time it crashes now i'm going to slow it down until either i find
a happy meedium or it just doesn't work.

does anybody know if the next version is going to look into these said
problems?

I have this model and the phone does sometimes crash when you hit the
voice dialing key. As for your other problem, I haven't experienced it.
Do Play.com sell new handsets? Send it back if you can. I have read some
reviews on this phone and people have complained about the call quality
and most of these negative reviews are posted by Three UK users.

hi all,

hope someone can help with this.

just bought an e71 from play.

well it's about 2 days old now.

every so often, when i make or receive a call, the call quality is like
broken. makes like clicking noises sometimes. it affects talks as well.
sometimes it will make the phone go completely quiet so talks is dead
can't get it back, or at least i don't think so the call goes totally
quiet but it's still there it's like the sound is totally lost. also in
the worse case, it will crash the phone so i have to remove the battery
in order to power the phone down.

i know that the voice command key makes the phone crash so i don't touch
that. but does anybody have any ideas about this? i do know that people
use this phone quite successfully. the only thing i've done with it so
far is to set the speech delay on talks to 0.5 seconds, am using the US
eloquence voice and i've turned the key tones off. a lot of my personal
ring tones are on a memory card. but that shouldn't make any difference
should it. the programmes i have on the phone are access fring and IM+.
anybody got any ideas?

thanks.
