Well, the one mentioned from Car Phone Warehouse is hard leather. I like its magnet. I think it must fit quite a lot of phones as it's not specifically for the N95 and would probably fit your N86. I can dig out further details of the one from Amazon.
I often do carry a "bum bag" myself, on the hip, by the way, just when out walking the dog or popping up the shop, and then am glad just to put the phone in the top; so I do a bit of all sorts!
