Sounds like they passed their Shell-by-date!!

This all seems Crystal clear now, so, I'll rest my case.

I guess something like a small bumbag would be fairly useful, then those of us not needing a screen could simply type away, without displaying the phone.

Cheers,

Mark.#

Hi Barbara

Will give it a go when I get round to it. (smile). I hate those shell
cases though, they come apart really easily, and when I tried putting one
together once, I cut my finger on the horrible cheap plastic!!

Thanks for the idea though Georgina.

Kind regards,

J

I agree Jackie. The crystal cases don't offer much protection. If you drop
the phone they will crack or smash, even though they say they are shatter
proof. I prefer some sort of a leather case, but as has already been said,
hard to get them for slide phones and be able to use the slide in the case.

Why not try ringing Nokia and if they have something, at least they'll be
able to describe it over the phone. I've always found their phone sales
department very helpful.

Hi

The description states that the phone can be operated when enclosed in
the crystal case. I've purchased these crystal cases for a n82, n73 and
the description is as stated by these power sellers.

These crystal cases are a hard shell that take all the knocks and
scratches. It's a shiny plastic skin.

Hi Georgina

It isn't actually sourcing one, it's knowing what it feels like for
suitability. The online descriptions are ok, but I'm not going to order
all
kinds of N86 cases just to find they aren't what I want. One of my
colleagues and I were having a laugh about it in the office the other day
actually. He was describing them all to me on various websites, but we
couldn't work out from the images or the info whether you could use it as
a
working cover. A friend actually got me one the other day, and it's fine,
but not one where you can use the handset while it is in the case.

If I find one, I'll report back.

Kind regards,

J

Hi

I usually look on ebay and haven't been disappointed. This one is less
than £3 so it's not a big loss.
