Hi Hussein,

What you need is Talks explore mode when you dial.

Rest your finger on the screen for more than about a second, then start
dragging around. The numbers will be spoken, but not activated, like the
iPhone. Then lift and tap when you want to enter the number. You can tap
anywhere on the screen after you lift, but you can't split tap.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] X6 Dialling Query

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone with the X6 or a phone with capacitive screen
could help. I mention the screen type in case it affects the operation of
the phone with regards to my query.

Is there some particular trick to dialling on this phone? When I enter the
telephone application, no matter how lightly I move my finger over the
screen, it enters the numbers I move over, making it difficult to navigate
the keypad and dialling a general nuisance. With the iPhone, it didn't
matter where you put your fingers as nothing would be entered until you
gave a definite double tap on the screen - I liked that.

Thanks in advance,

H
