Hi Neil
Thank you for this; hadn't spotted this mail when I reasked the question.
So I need to head back to the Vodafone shop and ask them these questions
about my phone then, do I? Trouble is they know nothing whatever about
their own access tech' facilitation.
Thank goodness for helpful experts such as yourself.

in general Amy yes, it is important to get a phone with the right version of
OVI Maps installed, or one that you can update to this, then you need MS
v4.6 and you're good to go.

Mobile Speak is obviously going to develop and naturally be the leader in
this field though isn't it? As long as they keep releasing updates and new
apps to their already quite impressive choice.

Not good news at all! Particularly for me as MobileSpeak, well, I just
cannot get used to the voices. I keep trying and trying, and I always fall
back to Eloquence, just because I am so used to it. Also MobileSpeak I don't
think is as stable and reliable as Talks.
