Ian,

not true whatsoever, the iPhone has no accessible GPS applications whatsoever,
not in the true sense of accessible. the iPhone has several GPS applications
which can be, to varying degrees of accuracy, accessed using Voice Over, the
iPhones built in screen reader. but this is in no way the same as the statement
that the apps are accessible.

there is no iPhone app which has around you capabilities as required by the
blind, which dynamically update as you walk, there is the ability to plot
routes from A to B, but this is the same as the support from MS with OVI.

yep i agree but there needs to be something now i mean the iphone has free or
four different accessible apps allready for g p s so it is beating talks hands
down in that reguard and it is newer as well. talks do need to try and catch up
really as quick as possible or ells a lot of people are going to be left with
out a viyable option.
