OK, thanks for that... Wasn't sure which angle you were coming from.

Not sure about the law myself but, it is probably a mute point as per my
message just now in response to Barbara.

Vodafone are providing something which is more than reasonable by providing
Talks for free on their phones. There thoughts are turned more toward the
increased spend we are more likely to make on their other services such as
internet, multi media messaging and downloads of various sorts.

As I said before, good for them... In a very general sense, there is a good
knowledge of Talks out there in their customer services and that is quite
impressive for a company of their size.

I didn't knock it as you suggest, in fact I was applauding them on their
generosity. Sorry if it did not come across like that. I thought under law
where goods and services are provided, then the supplier is obliged to make
reasonable adjustment.

Don't knock it!!!

They absolutely don't have to give you Talks.

It is a concession not a right.

but I could not find them and I am inclined to agree with you because when I
used phone switch to transfer messages etc to another phone it said that I
had 200 and yet I cannot find them. Maybe I will have the pay the Vodafone
shop a visit to see if they can find them for me!!!

I have to say that after you said about Vodafone paying the £50 for your
Talks I asked them to do same and they did. Just shows what profit they are
making.
