Hi Clive
You seem to know a lot about mobile phones. What does this programme you have to write text messages do over and above the notepad?

Hello Eleanor,

when you create your appointment with the time and date, arrow down to alarm, which is off by default. Select it and arrow down once to turn it on and select the new setting. You then arrow down again and you can then set an alarm time. When the alarm sounds, stop it with the left soft key. You don't need the calendar activated for the alarm to sound.

As for AppQLaunch, I can send it to you off-list. Copy the file to your phone and install it.

Best wishes,

Clive pallett
