I would agree with both of you too Clive but what I was wnating to do was to utalize the calandar function and if I had an appointment or whatever in for a given day I wanted it to come up so I could see it. Now if I were not to have it come up by turning active standby off, then is there a way I can have an alert to remind me to go in and have a look for that given date?

Hello Eleanor,

I agree with Steve, I have active standby turned off and prefer to use shortcut keys to access programs.

Best wishes,
