Hi Jackie,

There is an easier way. Just copy all the jokes from the jokes folder to
your inbox, then do the transfer again. Once you get them on the new phone,
just move the jokes back to their own folder. I know it is more hassle, but
that's how I get round it.

All the best

Steve

Hi Walter and Steve

I can transfer contacts using Bluetooth on a 6600 and an N70, N91 or an N95,
and never have any problems.

Mind you Steve, I do have a folder of jokes that I'd like to send over to
another phone in a oner, but I highlighted this and tried to send via
Bluetooth, but there was no option in the menu to do so. So perhaps this
has to be done using the Nokia Suite?

Hi Walter,

Interesting. It should work, I even got it working with a 6630, but I don't
have a 6680 to hand.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve. It seems that it is not possible to pair the 6680 and the N95.
When I try it it says it is waiting for the other fone and then says
something I can't understand and then says it is not supported. Haven't a
clue how I'm going to transfer these texts. Walter.

Hi,

Works for me on every phone I have tried, even texts. You are probably best
pairing both your phones first.

All the best

Hi Steve. I've been told by vodafone tech department and the vodafone store
that you cannot transfer SMS texts via bluetooth, only data such as notes,
calendar details & contacts etc but not text messages. I tried to do this
with my new N95, that is transfer my contacts etc via blue tooth but it
seems it is very difficult as I get a message to input a PIN in both phones
for security but when I tried that it still didn't work, the two phones
don't want to talk to one another and I had to input my contacts into my new
phone manually all over again. Even if it did work, I still can't transfer
my 750 texts and the PC suite is not very accessible. My old phone is the
6680 and my new phone the older n95, not the 8 gig version. Walter.

Hi Kevin,

Easiest way is to turn on Bluetooth on both phones, then run the Data
Transfer tool from the E65, which is I believe in the tools menu. This will
then search for older phones, and grab texts, notes, contacts and calendar
entries, as per your request. I.e. you can I believe select and deselect
items you don't want to bring over.

All the best

Steve

Hi

What is the easiest way to achieve the subject line. I only have one SIM
for my Vodafone account if that makes a difference as to how I do it.

Many thanks.

Cheers
