Hi Graham.

Sad to say this, but I bought Beyo myself, I was convinced it was the mobile solution for me as at the time I had an N86 and cameras on phones didn't get much better at least back then. I could never get it to accurately snap a document and read the contents back to me in 2 out of 3 instances. I guess I either don't have the knack or a steady hand or the right lighting conditions, but either way it was too hit and miss for me. Also I discovered that if you change your sim, for instance if your network sends you a new one, your license cant be reset as I recently tried to reuse it on another phone. A complete waste of money.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Amie.

I tried this program about 8 months ago. I saw its potential but ultimately
I did not find it accurate enough to make me spend £70 on it. There is
Kurzweil mobile reader but that is a serious rip off when compared to
virtually any other symbian program as the cost is not that far short of the
full desktop product if I remember correctly. If someone has had better
luck with the Beyo Reader then let us know!

Cheers

Graham

hi Adrian
beyo reader is a scanning program that works on a mobile phone
it takes a snapshot of a text document such as a menu in a restaurant and
talks reads back the page
i think that is more or less what a beyo reader is
i am sure if i am wrong someone will correct me or even give you more
information

Hi Janet.

The version of Beyo you need is the feature pack 2 edition
since that is
what OS your phone runs. Its just above the link to
download the complete
archive, though the archive does contain instructions on how
to use the
product, so well worth the extra few minutes to download.

All the best, Ibrahim.
