Dear Barbara

Samsung are good for enlarging the text size, I have a colleague in my office
at work who regularly shows this to VI clients.

regards

  Subject: [talks-uk] Text on phones

Apologies in advance that this is slightly off topic, but it is a long-shot I
hope someone here can help me with.

My sister is visually impaired but her sight is not poor enough to need TALKS
or Zooms. She does not have difficulty using a mobile so long as the text is
not tiny and she particularly finds easy the mobiles on which text can be
changed to extra large in addition to small, medium and large. In particular,
she needs this extra size when writing and reading text messages. So, does
anyone have experience of any hand sets she might find accessible? Preferably a
Nokia but not exclusively. She has been told that the text on Sony Ericssons
and Samsungs are good, can anyone confirm/dispute this?

She does not need nor want a top of the range handset, a camera is not
required, but neither would it be a problem if it were on the handset.

Many thanks for any help offered.
