Hi Jackie, Neil, Steve and all of you who have input to Nuance, please can you ask if they would consider a PDF viewer as well as the Word one. There is so much PDF material on-line. This would be fantastic upgrade.

Hi Steve

The situation is that Nuance are aware of the N86 issues with the
Internet and Email clients, but have gone for an update release at
present to fix some bugs while they work on the more complex issues of
the N86 features. I wish they would crack on as well as I'd like an N86
some time.

The K-Reader update has been brought out to primarily work with the N86,
something I can't comment on yet as I haven't seen it in action.

I'll keep people posted.

Well thanks for that Jackie. I've read the release notes for the new
KNF upgrade and that it now supports the N86. I'm slightly disappointed
that Nuance have brought out this new update without addressing the
issues around the N86 which is obviously a key player at the moment,
especially in relation to KNF now working on it. I personally will not
upgrade either talks, nor KNF until I can properly use the N86.

Steve

Hi Alex

The only feedback I can give you is that Nuance will not be releasing
the enhancements required for the N86 yet, though they are aware of them
and are working on them. That's all I know, and I do know because the
K-Reader is to go on the N86 given the demise of the other phones.

I hope this helps.

Jackie, as far as I can tell from the release notes, support for the n86
hasn't changed, the e-mail application hasn't changed, and it seems the
web browser still doesn't work. I certainly won't be buying an n86
unless the situation is improved.
Cheers
Alex

Hi Neil

Yes, I had heard about this release, and am just curious to know what
the new additions are, if any, to the previous version. Are there any

obvious fixes to look out for, or is it more to do with support of
newer phones like the N86?

Thanks.
