  Hi Elanor,

Will have a look in the phone settings, really don't want or need the voice
to tell me who I'm calling at all, wish the thing would just stop unwanted
chatter!!

Can't you change the 'set my caller Id' in the phone setting rather than
the Talks setting. I have mine set like that and it keeps repeating the
person's name between the phone ringing.

      hello Alistair
i don't know how many things you have tried in order to cure the problem
you have of repeated caller i.d
there is one thing i can think of that you could try
it is possible you may of already done this but in case you have not then
this is what you do.

1 open talks and zooms with talks key and the star key.

2 right arrow twice until you hear automation tab.
3 arrow up or down to where it says repeat caller i.d and press select

4 up or down arrow to where it says repeat caller every x amount of
seconds continue to arrow up or down to where it says repeat caller i d no.
      press select

      5 exit talks and zooms

6 re enter talks and zooms and follow the above guide to see if it says
no
if it does exit talks and zooms and hopefully it should of worked
if this is not a solution or you have already tried this then i can be of
no more help
but at least i will know you tried my suggestion
let me know how you get on and how you cure the problem

      Yvonne

Hi Ally, does setting Talks to mute during a call solve this issue?

          Hi!

Is there any means of preventing talks from echoing the number being
dialled? It's annoying to hear the number being repeated as it rings and is
answered, I'm sure the person called can hear the tail end of the talks voice
calling out the number.

          Thanks

          ally
