Hi listers,

Where are ring tones stored on Nokia phones? I've been able to send mp3
files to the phone, but they are saved in Gallery; from there they can
be Set as a ring tone, across all profiles; can you move them to a ring
tones folder where they can be managed as ring tones from Profiles?

That's really why I put Y Browser on, but so far I've not been
successful in finding a ring tones folder.

Thanks for your help,

Mike

Hi Carol,

You can certainly access them with File Manager yes. But you may not be
able to send them to another phone, depending on if Nokia considers them
to be protected. For example, you can't send built-in ring tones.

All the best

Steve

Steve,

Is there any way you can access the various sound files that way, or are

they all very carefully hidden by Nokia so that you can't copy them over
to
another phone?
