Thank you for your message.

I now understand the Mute on Key Lock issue, and anyway, I
don't lock my keypad that often anyway.

However, I agree with you that there is an issue with tones
and text alerts not being heard which applies even when the
keypad is unlocked and Talks is seeming to work correctly.
