Hi Steve

I see nothing in these notes which refers to the problem I mentioned. When
the problem is fixed, will an update be available to existing customers?

Hi Barbara,

The ring tones thing is a known issue, it is in the release notes.

As for the text, this sometimes happens if Talks is talking when you get
your message. Again, this is a 3rd gen problem, and is being worked on.

Here are the release notes.

Subject: [talks-uk] TALKS and Ringtones

Hi

Hope someone can help me.

I've installed the newest version of TALKS on my Nokia 5500. It works really
well. My only problems are that when I go into Profiles to change ringtones,
text alerts etc and move through the list of available tones, they only play
if I mute TALKS first, however this leaves no speech. Also, when a text
message arrives it only plays a clicking sound and not the assigned tone. Is
this a conflict between TALKS and the sound files? The tones are AAC if this
helps, but I had AAC files on an older phone and there was no conflict with
TALKS.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
