Hi Eleanor.

Yes, I'm here, I've been busy with SV and other commitments though I'll chip in when I can.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Oh gosh you have me there Andy. It is a wireless Modem as Jackie pointed out in a previous e-mail. I found it horendously expensive when I used it on a pay phone so will never do that again. Cost me an arm and a leg. However I have a Vodafone Account with unlimited Access and I think it is OK there. Other than that you could just go ahead and have one of those Broadband Dongles. I wonder if Ibrahim is still on this list. He is very knowledgable and would give excellent advice. If he does not respond, I will possibly send yhour e-mail address to him and ask him if he would respond to yhou.

Thanks eleanor - Is this cheaper than using a USB modem from a cell provider?

An application for a mobile phone which will allow you to connect up with your laptop to access the internet. Not recommended unless you have a contract with your service provider with unlimited internet access. The application is fairly inexpensive.

Hi Carol

I bought mine from
www.symbiangear.com

Just type in Joikuspot Premium in the search box, and a link should come up
in the results for you to go to. You have to select your phone make and
model, for example, Nokia N86. Once you purchase the download, you simply
download it to your PC, and install it onto your phone in the normal way.
Oh, and I think you have to register on the site as general with these
things.

Good luck.

Hi Jackie,

Can you remember where you got it from and whether there's a trial version.
I'm having trouble being sure of the procedure.

Hi Carol

Yes indeed. I haven't used Hotspot, so can't comment on that. But
I've always found Joik a very nifty little program.
