That does not happen for me Steve. When I hear the beep it says nothing about
that. I have to go to Edit amd arrow up to predictive text amd then arrow
across to insert word amd then an edit box opens amd I type in the word.

Hi Kevin,

It doesn't even come up on the screen. You get the beep to tell you that you
have cycled through all of its guesses, then when you hear the beep,
immediately press Key1, and it will say Spell, and you can add your word.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] Spell Word announcement

For many years I used a Nokia 6600 with Talks. When writing a message in
predictive text mode and I wrote a word that the predictive text dictionary
didn't know, Talks would announce something like 'spell word'. I would then
press Key 1 to go into Spell mode, enter the correct word and press Key 1
again to accept the word and go back to writing my message.

I'm now using an N82 and although I hear the beep to tell me that Spell mode
is required, I don't get the announcement.

Is there anyway I can get Talks to announce Spell Word or is this just a
quirk with the N82.

I'm using Talks Premium V4.

Cheers

Kevin
