It seems to be a different issue to what Paul is experiencing, as I have all
3 set to 30 days; it seems very strange to me that the log doesn't register
several calls to the same number on the same day, and that after receiving a
certain call, there is no record of it under received calls, not even
"private number."

This is similar to Paul's problem. In your log, go to settings, and put
the number of days showing received, missed and dialled numbers to the
same amount, and it should sort it for you. (Hopefully anyway).

Just looking at my phone's log [N82] I notice that under dialed
nmumbers, if I have called the same nkumber 3 times over a 3 hour
period, only the last time shows up in the log; is this standard log
practice?
Also I received a call on Friday evening, that isn't in the 'received'
log, anybody know why this might be? I believe it came from another
mobile -
