Eleanor,

I'm not sure I quite get your drift, but you can remove existing history,
form data, etc by going to Options in the web browser. There is a sub-menu
and it's named something logical, you'd know it if you saw it but it's
slipped my mind just now.

As for commonly used URLs, you could add them as bookmarks and then you'd
not have to type in the address each time.

I've not seen anything about remembering passwords as far as an
auto-complete function goes, only those involving cookies. But I've found
that if you want to do something with a phone that's not already implemented
within it, there's a high chance there's software out there that can do it
for you. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a form data manager application,
maybe something similar to RoboForm on the desktop, for the cell phone.

HTH.

Subject: [talks-uk] Some Questions About Surfing the Net

When I go to web address and start inputting the URL I wish it would not
save those ones that I have done incorrectly. How do I remove them? Also
if I make a mistake after writing in the web address and it says page not
found or whatever, I am finding that I have to start all over again. How
can I get back to what I spent time putting in and just edit that? I am an
Open University student and when we sign in to our Home Page, we put in a
Password, now is there any way of getting the phone to remember passwords or
must these be put in every time?

Thank you in advance
