[talks-uk] Re: Sending large text messages

Hmm, I don't know as that isn't really necessary. When sending a contact to
another phone, I just opt to send it as a text message to avoid MMS charges.
I just have an entry in my message reports listing the message and then the
number of messages comprising it next to it.

For normal text messages, I just write and when I've finished send as
normal. I add recipients as normal. The only way you really know it's
sending more than one SMS-length message is that the longer the message, the
slightly longer the delay when sending and the 'sending' screen will flash
several times whereas it doesn't when just sending a regular SMS.

So, there's as little as makes no difference. On my 6630 I remember there
would be a counter at the top of the message which would change if you went
over the 160 character length for a standard SMS. I don't hear that
announced now, so maybe they've removed it or maybe it's one of those things
Talks can't access or doesn't announce.
