Hi Eleanor, Yes, you need to do it as an app specific setting. 1. Go to the telephone window where you hear the day and date and want to turn it off. 2. From that point, Press Talks followed by long Key1, hold down Key1, and you will enter Talks settings. 3. Options, App Specific settings. 4. Add App Specific Setting. 5. Select Subtitles, and turn them off. 6. Back out and you should be asked if you want to save. Say Yes, and you're done. This will only happen then in the telephone window. All the best Steve _____ From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Eleanor Burke Sent: Tuesday 18 August 2009 20:37 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Reading Sub-Titles with Talks Hi Steve You were helping to suggest how I might know what number e-mail I was in when I opened it. When indeed I checked my settings one phone with the others, I found that reading sub-titles was turned on, on the pones which you kindly installed the Talks for me. It was on the one where I installed the Talks myself that this was not set. i now hear it say the number of e-mail but that has brought me back to hearing day and date. Is there any other way I can turn day and date off please? Eleanor _____ I am using the Free version of SPAMfighter <http://www.spamfighter.com/len> .
