Hi Eleanor, OK, no problem with this one, and a natural mistake. To get round this problem turn off predictive text. Just press hash twice quickly in the note, and you will be able to read it char by char. All the best Steve _____ From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Eleanor Burke Sent: Friday 12 December 2008 07:48 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Reading Notes character by Character Hi and in particular to Steve Nutt Now before you say Steve that I should try it myself, I have! When my Wayfinder Access would not work, you very kindly gave me the code over the telephone. I decided that in event of me being locked out again from WFA I would make a note of the Key. This I did in notes. When I went to access the key, i.e. read the key so that I could put it in again. I could not access it character by character even though I had the cursor set to read character by character. It insisted on reading the initial character followed by a word. for example W wayfinder A access C code T which was the first letter of the code followed by a sort of word from the other letters. Now what is going on here? Eleanor _____ I am using the Free version of SPAMfighter <http://www.spamfighter.com/len> We are a community of 5.7 million users fighting spam.
