Hi Graham,

As far as I know, the landing on the same link is not going to be easy.

Nokia don't have any equivalent to MSAA, so the fact you can access the
browser at all is down to cleverness rather than any help from Nokia.

All the best

Steve

Hi Paul.

Firstly I agree that talks is basically good but I would like to ask for 3
things in a new release.

Firstly, in the web browser when you go back a page I would like to land on
the link I used to get to that page rather than starting at the top.
Secondly I would like to read PDF files in some accessible way. thirdly I
would like to be able to search for text within text files and there is a
fourth after all. I would like to be able to remap some of the keys used
with Talks. for example. talks and 9 gives the time and date. This is
annoying if you have a slide phone so you need to open the phone just to get

the time.

I am very pleased with Talks but I do believe these would be useful
improvements.

Regards

Graham

I agree.

However you look at it, Talks is very good value for money.

What do you want access to that Talks doesn't give you anyway?

I have found that there is usually a work around.

Most of the things I have difficulty accessing are those between two worlds
kind of things like images for example. I can see them if I use a magnifier
or Zooms but, I would never expect Talks to audio describe them for me.

I appreciate that example is a bit extreme but, it is the only way I can
think of to make my point without us getting into the "yes, but, they only
have to do X, Y and Z arguments.

The only thing I can think of for which I would currently like access is the
Nokia Internet Radio. Again, not essential as I can access streaming audio
anyway.

I have access to lots of things I wouldn't have expected to have already.

But, yes, bring on more development.

Hi Steve

Ah! I think we've been here before with this one. I prefer to think of all
the great things Talks allows me to do for my money, rather than dwell on
the fact I've had to pay for it in the first place. I consider I've had
more than my £150's worth out of it, and the free updates that the guys at
Nuance spend so long on improving. (smile)

Ah right, well not to worry, guess it's txt then. It does make me wonder
though, how would a sighted person feel if they had to spend £250 on a phone
and then another£150 so they could see the menus...and then find out half of
what they could see they couldn't use!...there would be hell to pay! Cheers
Steve.
