Hi Paul

It is in my opinion a great phone. I had one before and it didn't drain power
quite as much. My only thoughts are that while I am not a heavy user, I do use
it more than I used to. Other than that I may have a faulty battery. On average
I hear most people who are not TALKS users saying they need to charge their
battery every day or at least every other day. Remember the days when a full
battery would last best part of a week? But then that was when we couldn't use
the things so no wonder the battery lasted so long!

  Hi Barbara,

I too have an E51 phone which I ordered last week and picked up today.

Whilst I am pleased with my phone, I was told by the assistant that I would
need to charge my phone up every two days. I did point out that whilst I have
my phone switched on more or les all day, I am not constantly useing it.

When I got my phone at around 4:30 today, it was showing 5 bars. currently
it's showing 4 bars which may suggest that my battery is OK.

I like this phone as the kekys are fairly big and easy to navigate.

  Paul.

I am using an E51 which came brand new from Nokia. I have a problem and I
am not sure if it is caused by the phone or the battery. I know I could check
it out by trying another battery in my phone or my battery in another phone,
but I was wondering if anyone had this problem which is a new one to me.

I need to charge this battery once a day which isn't quite normal as I am
not a heavy user. Once my battery hits about 4 bars, the power just seems to
drain very quickly. In the past if I went to bed and the battery was on 1 bar,
I could switch it off overnight and still find a little power left in the
morning to make the alarm go off etc. Now if I go to bed with the battery on 3
bars, by morning the phone is dead and the alarm does not go off. Also, once
charged and switched on again, I am asked to set the date and time as you would
with a new phone.

Anyone know what might be causing this problem?
