I copied a DAISY book in to Sounds folder. Then I went in to d2go and used the options key to import a book or whatever it said, it will be obvious to you when you do it. Jus press key 1, I mean soft key 1 and listen to the options. It then recognized it as Terry Wait's book I then went back to Options via soft key 1 and displayed the contents and choose chapter 1 and pressed Select and had to wait about 3 seconds before anything happened and then it did. At first it was just reading the first MP3 file if you know what I mean, the RNIB bit but when I did it a few times or I also moved the right arrow and held it down for a few seconds. Do not know if that made any difference but then I got it to stay on continuous reading. To come out of it, I pressed key 2 and then when I went back in it just contjinued on. You would need to make sure you had adjusted the Options or selections or wahtever it is called for the continuous, I think.I must go back again though and try that RNIB DAISY book Read On as I did not get it working the first time. Which keystrokes were you using to get your books to play? I could get one DAISY book working on d2go and not another. You should be able to view Word files OK so do not know what is going on there for you. I have installed this to my N96 with Talks 4, copied over one of my Daisy books to my phone's mass memory, opened it in the bookshelf of Daisy2Go, however, when I try to start playing it, by hitting Select on Chapter 1, I only get the message "daisy2Go - Function Not Supported". I have looked in the Options for a choice to start/stop playback, however, the most I have found is "Resume Playback", which does nothing. Any advice on how I can get my Daisy book playing? Also, regarding WORD documents, I have Quick Office installed on my N96, however, when I open WORD, it is looking for me to purchase a licence. I thought that I might have been able to listen to existing WORD docs on my phone, using Talks 4, without having to purchase a Quick Office licence. Any ideas on how to do this. By the way, on the N96, I have to mute Talks in order to select ringtones and, likewise, when I wish to listen to the radio, I need to mute Talks before I access the Radio application. I've just been enjoying listening to a Word document read to me on the phone and I am most impressed. I have also put a Daisy book on and it is excellent. A few things people talked about and I just could not get them to work but kept at it and eventually I did. It was my lack of familiarity with the complete Talks Premium. I cannot work out why some of my Word files willnot open however. Definitely an improvement though and talks sounds much sharper. The pluses are being able to reassign the talks key, the daisy player and the fact you can select a ringtone without muting talks. The minuses are talks still doesn't read the radio window, the photos window and I can't tab between phone memory and memory card in the gallery view. Talks is also reading some odd stuff when in a message window. In the "to and text" fields it says "add/text, dictionary upper case", even when its set to lower case!...it didn't say anything like this before. 1 more thing is that a message tone still will not be played when talks is on and the phone is locked, only when muted. I think because specific phones are listed in the "supported phones" list, you can get the impression that work is done to make talks work specifically on that phone, but really it's an across the board support for the cymbian platform...and I'd be interested to find out if there's much difference from phone to phone when it comes to functionality of specific apps.
