HI Steve it's not the star key with these querty models. It's key 1 and the bottom left FN key. Star on these phones is by the Y letter and the number 3 is the Y key.

Hi Angela,

Just press the left hand option key, Key1 we call it, then Star within two
seconds. That will unlock it.
