I find that the Y on these phones is also down somewhere on the right on
the qwerty keypads, presumably for ease of access depending on what word
is written. I still haven't worked out where the hyphen sign is or if
there is a way of cycling through punctuation. Know where the full stop,
question, at sign and elclaimation are and now the astrix but that is it.
Anyone can share any more ideas with me with regard to punctuation I
would appreciate it. I have also found that I cannot do the predictive
texting on qwerty keypad maybe that is because I am wanting to gain my
speed on the keypad and once I have that up to fast, at present now
progressed to moderate from slow, then I will be able to use the
predictive type texting again. Was just getting in a muddle if the
option I wanted was not there and was having to back space all the way to
the beginning of the word all over again.

HI Steve it's not the star key with these querty models. It's key 1 and
the bottom left FN key. Star on these phones is by the Y letter and the
number 3 is the Y key.
