Hello everyone,

I can now submit my observations using the Nokia audiobook manager and player I referred to in my last post.

the audiobook manager is installed on your PC and can be used to copy books to your phone. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to install it. The first screen shows the license and you have to agree to it before continuing. The cursor is highlighted on decline and I cannot select the agree button with the keyboard, not even using Hal's auto-virtual focus mode. I think this has to be done with the mouse. Can anyone please confirm this?

There are two versions of the audiobook player, depending on which phone model you have. I installed the first one, audiobookplayer_1_03_s60_30.sis, which is compatible with the N91. I copied two books onto the hard drive of my phone and although Talks didn't speak the selected book title I could play them and was amazed how clear the speech is.

The second file, audiobookplayer_1_03_s60_31.sis, is compatible with later phones and out of curiosity I tried it on my N91 and it crashed my phone and I had to reboot.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried both the manager and player.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
