Again, as I said before: "I know that if you press and hold the media key, it does launch music player on mine. I was under the impression the you could not change the media key shortcut from its default function to something else. When you press the media key you get a carousel type view of various applications on the screen. Pressing the scroll key up and down moves the carousel round and you can click on the desired application. You can choose which apps are included in this view. ...Trouble is, it isn't accessible! Never mind though, no big deal. That is what I know, hope it helps." If your friend's is set up as you describe then it must be possible, unless this comes with various setups, depending on which N95 etc. I can't though find anywhere to alter this and so throw it out to all N95 users. I'd much rather use the key for something else as I don't use the visual radio. Someone did mention having got this to work, BTW, and I'd be interested in any feedback on this. Sorry I can't really help at all, Barbara. Will write again if I find anything else worth passing on regarding this. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Wilson <mailto:barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: talks-uk <mailto:talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 04, 2009 6:32 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Nokia N95 I am trying to help out a sighted friend with a Nokia N95 and as it does not have TALKS on it I can't have a play around and find this out for myself. On the right of the keypad just between the key 2 and call end key is a largish square key which is set up as a shortcut key to launch the music player. Is it possible to set this key to an alternative shortcut and if so, how?
