Hi All

Sorry for the cross-posting, but I am back to a problem a friend is 
experiencing with his 6600 not reading the name of the sender when he receives 
a text message.

This evening, I have sat going through each of the tab sheets within TALKS with 
him over the phone.  These all appear to be correct.  He then shut down his 
phone, removed the battery, replaced it, and powered up the phone.  I advised 
this just in case something strange had got into memory.  His senders still do 
not announce themselves when he receives text messages.  If he arrows up within 
the message, the name of the person is above the body of the text.  But when he 
receives any text message, the name of the person sending it does not speak, 
yet it is on the screen because he has had it checked by T-Mobile.

I believe the version of TALKS he is using is 3.05.

I would be grateful if anyone could offer further suggestions please as this is 
frankly puzzling, and if I were in his shoes, it would be really annoying me 
too.  You shouldn't have to go into a message to find out who has sent it.
