Yes Steve, know what you mean. I haven't either.

Hope you sort it Paul.

Hi Jackie,

But the words My Folders are not an icon, they are actual text on the
screen, so I can't even see Version 1 reading that wrongly. Once you select
My Folders, and choose Options, then the rest is text again. So again, I
can't see where this one is going wrong. Of course, if Paul has
accidentally deleted My Folders folder, then this may be the problem. I
have never tried to do that.

All the best

Steve

Steve, the only thing that occurred to me is the version of TALKS, but I've
had a 6600 for yonks, and I've still always been able to read the icons no
problem.

I'm confuzzled babe. (smile)

Hi Jackie,

I'm with you Babe. I can't think what is wrong, which is why I didn't
chime
in.

All the best

Steve

Hi Paul

I still have my 6600 with the most current release of TALKS for that
phone,
and I find it does what I detailed for you exactly, so I'm trying to think
what might be the problem here.

When you enter Messaging, you should have eight icons to choose from. I
have got my phone set to List View, so I can arrow down them one at a time
rather than go across them in a square. They are: New Message, Inbox, My
Folders, Mailbox, Drafts, Sent, Outbox, and Reports.

In the My Folders section, which is the one to select, you should have one
folder called Templates. You just ignore that folder and bring up the
Options menu and arrow to New Folder, which you want to create.

Perhaps someone else could come in here with other suggestions as I have
all
my phones do the same in the way described, and I can't think why this is
different for you.

Wish I could help further. Steve, where are you?

Hi Jackie,

Thanks for the steps but I am finding that my 6600 doesn't quite
correspond
with your steps. I.e. I when I go to New Folders, I can't seem to proceed
any further and the only way to get to new folders is to select it
without
selecting my Folders.

also I have moved three messages but they didn't go where I wanted them
to
go so I am a little stuck.

hope you can help.

regards

Paul.

: Hi Paul
:
: To create a folder in which to place your jokes and funnies on the
6600,
do
: the following:
:
: 1. Go into Messaging.
:
: 2. Arrow down to My Folders and select.
:
: 3. Bring up the Options menu, and arrow to New Folder and select.
:
: 4. Give your folder a name such as Jokes, and select.
:
: 5. Now go to your Inbox and mark all the items you want to put into
your
: newly created folder.
:
: 6. Once you have marked the items, bring up the Options menu again and
: arrow up to Move To Folder, and select.
:
: 7. Remember to highlight the newly created folder to ensure your jokes
are
: sent there.
:
: 8. Your Inbox should now be minus all the items you marked.
:
: 9. Go to the folder you just created, and you will find all your jokes
in
: there.
:
: I hope this helps and makes sense. I've also got a folder called
Jokes.
: Brill isn't it?
