Hi Barbara. I don't have the 6220 but I do have the 6210. These phones are
identical except for the greater memory on the 6220 and the higher specs on
the camera
and the larger memory. Also the 6220 is white whilst the 6210 is black,
apart from that they are the same. the speaker is a small mono speaker and
compared to the stereo speakers of the N95 I have, it does sound thin and
tinny but there is adequate volume for talks and I wouldn't call it "poor
quality". The Speakers on the N95 are a little larger and stereo and hence
give a warmer response but the speaker on the 6210 is fine and I probably
say a little clearer than the N95 but that is probably because being a
smaller speaker it will emphasise the higher frequency and hence sound clear
and probably easier to hear in crowded places. I hope this is of help.
