Hi Paul,

It is in fact, a better phone than the N95, as it has the latest FP2 Symbian
software.

All the best

Steve

I would say, keep the N95. I think you said you have the latest firmware.

I am astounded that Vodafone have allowed the problems on the N96 to go on
for so long.

I am near the beginning of a 24 month contract with Vodafone with the N96
and I wish I had just kept my N95.

Steve would be able to tell you more about the N85 but, best thing to do is
find a review of it somewhere.

From what I remember reading, it is a lesser phone anyway than the N95. The
model numbers should give you some clues, 95 being higher than 85, even
though the 85 is a newer phone, it would have some features missing I would
think that are present on the 95.

Cheers.

Paul

Hi folks. I was speaking to Voedafone today regarding my upgrade. As Steve
mentioned last night I asked them about the N85 and the N86. They don't do
the 86 but do the 85. What would you say about these handsets; which of
them is the better option. Of course we are talking about talks here so
even though a handset might be superior, in the balance when Talks is added
into the equation, the most technically superior machine might not be the
"best." The N96 is not very ergonomically good as a result of it's keypad
being so flush. So the N95 and N85 would, or could be considered superior.
If I discounted the N96 and opted to either keep my N95 or go for the N85
would I merely be swapping like for like? Is there any real difference
between the N85 and the N95 apart from the N85 being a newer model? All of
you who have an opinion and especially if you have had experience with any
of these handsets your contribution would be welcomed. Walter.
