To record phonecalls while in the phonecall you do the following. You press talks and clear to unmute talks. Then you go to menu, applications, media, voice recorder and you press the cellect key to start the recording. To stop the recording you press key2. If you don't want to unmute talks you press menu, up twice, then cellect, then the number 6 for the 6th option which is media, then cellect because you are already on voice recorder and cellect once more to start recording. I hope it helps Nikos -----Original Message----- From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Eleanor Burke Sent: Sunday, February 15, 2009 11:35 PM To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Re: N95, Phone Call and Recording Oh yes Barbra I know that indeed but I just wondered as there is a recording facility on the phone and I do not know how to use this? I did have a telephone, not a mobile and it was possible to record the phone conversation, every 30 seconds a beep went off and even if the person had not been told then they would have known by this indicator. It is not for secret purposes of recording that I wanted to know. Say for example if I was having a telephone tutorial, it might be easier to record the phone tutorial rather than me making notes all the way through and once I had the tutor's permission hopefully that would be OK. If my memory serves me correctly you have some legal knowledge so I'm probably teaching my granny to suck eggs here.
