exactly - a phone is a very personal thing these days esp to us visually
impaired as we use then for so many functions so you do have to choose one that
suits you and your personality.

I will be getting the E72 when it becomes available. It's very much like the
E71 but has the newer spec like the camera is 5mp and the interface is like
the one on the N86. Talks will not work with the e-mail and text editting in
the web browser. It also has the standard 3.5m audio jack unlike the 2.5m
jack on the E71. I hope it's got the same solid steel exteria as the E71. I
bought my wife the Samsung Tocco Lite phone and it's full touch screen. I
can see to use the basic main menu and to dial a number but that is about
it. The font in the submenus is very small compared to even standard font.
It's like they are trying to cram everything in. I would like to play around
with something like that with speech. I probebly would never buy a touch
screen phone as you can get productive to a point and then it becomes a
struggle to keep up with standard speed of using a phone and writing a
message. Neil Barnfather described the touch phone as a table with 9 blocks.
You throw your keys anywhere in the middle of that table and you will
roughly know where the keys landed but you still have to find them. This
concept applies to the touch screen phone. You roughly know where the
desired option is on the screen but you still have to find it buy swiping
your finger in that area. This is why I would want to buy a cheep accessible
touch screen device to see if I can become productive with the touch screen
interface.
