Hi Ibrahim,
yip I did know this perhaps it's just the slider but the phone seems to report keypad unlocked or keypad locked when using either the switch on the side or from the menu, maybe me just being picky! Cheers!

Alistair

Hi Alistair.

You do know that there are three ways of unlocking the handset, the lock switch being just one of them. You can slide the slider either way, you can use the slider switch which you obviously dislike, but you can also press the soft key 1 and 2 keys in rapid succession as well, so if the first two methods don't appeal, you always have that option.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Jackie,

in mitigation I have to say this is my first slider phone, which I find a wee bit klunky, the lock key on the side drives me nuts as it seems it locks and unlocks too easily, the keypad is poor especially when compared to my trusty N82, it also feels a bit heavy in the hand. Think my lack of appreciation for the phone is compounded by using the trial of a rival mobile software product which seems less than satisfactory! " Grump over! Away the gers!" lol!

Hi Alistair

Out of interest, why don't you like the N86, I'm curious?

Hi Jackie,

Thanks, must admit having now got the phone I don't like it, but stuck with it now, I'm glad talks works fine will now give it a go.

Thank you

Alistair

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me if the latest build of talks works well with the nokia
N86? have heard some say it freezes a great deal, don't know whether to wait
till the next release or not that is why I'm asking.

Thanks

Ally
