Subject: [talks-uk] How easy is it to update Nokia software on a 6680 which Is running Talks?

Hi all,

The above question is really aimed at Graham Longley, Steve Nutt, and those others on the list who are technically aware, so I apologise to everyone else if this is over there heads. I also apologise to Graham Longley and others who are moderators if this is seen as Off topic.

Somehow I managed to start the Nokia software Updater earlier today. I connected my 6680 and tried to continue the process, and although the screens on the phone were visible with my limited sight, and the related computer screens were visible and readable to a degree with Supernova version 9.01, the procedure seemed to take ages. All I am asking is, has anyone tried updating Nokia software on a similar phone using dolphin products, and did it work, all-be -it eventually, or should I get the job done professionally, having first backed talks up to the MMC ?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Alexander Shannon
