Hi Del, I am not sure then. Could it be that there's something wrong with
Talks installation? The hotkey mentioned should definitely work. Hope someone
comes up with an answer.

Hi, press Talks key plus number 1 to change Talks key echo. You can
choose letters, words, letters and words or none.

Further to my previous post, all of my Talks issues have almost been
resolved. except for the following.
No matter what I do, I cannot get Talks to announce words only when in
a text field.
I have tried all options available to me. but still I am hearing
letters and words.
Can anyone help?
