Hi Barbara, The N79 and N85 are also such phones. They have excellent wifi, and faster processors than the E phones. The E phones to me are just plain inferior. However, I still think as far as things like WLAN are concerned, the E Series performs far better. I think it's just a question of knowing what you want your phone to do and then buying accordingly. For example, I don't use mine as a music player, so can live with having to mute TALKS while I review the ringtones as I want a good fast, reliable and stable WLAN connection. Others want good music quality and aren't bothered about the Internet. So it's all personal preference. Maybe one day they will bring out a phone which does all, but then again I guess the N82 was one such handset as the wireless on it was excellent. The E phones have a single cheaper audio chip in them, which prevents them from playing multiple sounds at once. For example, with my N79, I don't have to mute Talks while selecting ring tones. With all the E phones that I have seen, you do. So while they are good for business applications, Nokia have taken shortcuts with the audio. Talks seems to perform better on E series phones in comparison to N series phones. But some others have opposite views on the matter. Basically, it all comes down to your level of comfort with a particular model.
